Support for Your Next Chapter

You’ve done the incredible work of bringing a baby into the world. Now it’s time to support your body as it heals and rebuilds.

The postpartum season is powerful—but it can also feel overwhelming. Between sleep deprivation, hormonal shifts, and the physical recovery from birth, it’s easy for your own healing to take a back seat.

You deserve more than a quick checkup and a simple “you’re cleared.”

At Awake, our postpartum pelvic floor therapy helps you reconnect with your body, restore strength, and address the physical changes that come with pregnancy and birth so you can move forward feeling supported, confident, and strong.

Because postpartum healing isn’t just about getting back to normal—it’s about helping your body feel strong, supported, and fully yours again.

Postpartum Care

Your postpartum healing matters just as much as your baby’s care.

Giving your body the time and support it needs to recover after birth is an important part of the postpartum journey. Your pelvic floor plays a central role in that process.

Whether you had a vaginal delivery or a C-section, pregnancy and birth bring significant changes to your body. Postpartum care helps support your body as it adjusts, heals, and gradually rebuilds strength.

The goal isn’t just physical recovery—it’s helping you feel comfortable, confident, and connected to your body again as you move through this new stage of motherhood.

What Our Clients Say

The changes don’t stop at childbirth, and neither does our care.

Common Postpartum Concerns We Help With

Every postpartum recovery is different. Some people feel ready to move forward quickly, while others notice lingering symptoms that make daily life feel harder than expected. Pelvic floor therapy can help address many of the physical changes that occur during pregnancy and birth.

We commonly support clients experiencing:

  • Urinary leaking when coughing, sneezing, running, or jumping

  • Pelvic heaviness or pressure that may feel like prolapse

  • Abdominal separation (diastasis recti) and core weakness

  • Pain with intercourse or pelvic exams

  • C-section scar tightness or discomfort

  • Pelvic floor tension or difficulty relaxing the pelvic floor

  • Low back, hip, or SI joint pain

  • Difficulty returning to exercise or feeling strong in your body again

If something doesn’t feel quite right after birth, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

Pelvic floor therapy can help you understand what’s happening in your body and create a plan to support your recovery so you can move forward feeling stronger, more comfortable, and confident.

When Should You Start Postpartum Pelvic Floor Therapy?

Many people are told to wait until their six-week postpartum check before thinking about recovery. But support can begin much earlier.

In fact, the early weeks after birth can be one of the most helpful times to receive guidance as your body begins healing and adjusting to life with a new baby.

At Awake Pelvic Health & Wellness, postpartum care often begins with:

  • Early support to talk through your birth experience, symptoms, and ways to support healing in the first weeks after delivery

  • Hands-on in-person care as your body continues to recover, helping address pelvic floor symptoms, C-section or perineal healing, and core reconnection

  • Guided rebuilding of strength so you can return to daily life, exercise, and motherhood feeling strong and supported

Postpartum recovery isn’t just about being “cleared.” It’s about feeling supported as your body heals and grows stronger over time.

You Don’t Have to Figure Out Postpartum Recovery Alone

Healing after birth looks different for everyone. Some people are navigating discomfort or symptoms, while others simply want guidance as their body adjusts to this new chapter.

Wherever you are in your postpartum journey, you deserve care that listens, supports, and meets you where you are.

At Awake Pelvic Health & Wellness, we walk alongside you as your body heals—helping you reconnect with your strength, move with confidence, and feel supported through every stage of recovery.
