Pelvic Floor Therapy Serving St. Paul, MN

Full-hour, one-on-one pelvic health care, just a short drive east in Woodbury.

“Awake is by far the best physical therapy I’ve ever received. After years of frustration and chronic joint pain, they slowly helped me uncover every piece of the puzzle.”

~Sadie B.

Pelvic floor therapy that takes the time to find the root cause

If you live in St. Paul and you're dealing with pelvic pain, bladder leaks, constipation, or recovery after having a baby, you don't have to just live with it. At Awake Pelvic Health & Wellness, every visit is a full hour, one-on-one with a Doctor of Physical Therapy trained in pelvic health. You won't be rushed through in 30 minutes or handed off to an aide in a busy gym.

We're the largest pelvic health specialty clinic in the Twin Cities. Our team of 9 pelvic health physical therapists has delivered more than 12,000 sessions to over 1,200 patients. Many of them drive in from St. Paul because they want care that looks at the whole body and not just their symptoms.

What we help St. Paul patients with

  • Pregnancy: pelvic, back and hip pain, round ligament pain, and birth prep

  • Postpartum recovery: after vaginal or C-section births, including leaking, heaviness, diastasis, and returning to exercise

  • Bladder issues: leaking, urgency, frequency, and waking at night to pee

  • Bowel issues: constipation and changes in bowel control

  • Pelvic pain: including pain with sex, tailbone pain, and pelvic floor tightness

  • Prolapse concerns and recovery after surgery

  • Men's pelvic health

  • Whole-body orthopedic care connected to the pelvis, including the back, hips, and jaw

What to expect at your first visit

Your first appointment is a calm, private, full-hour visit. We'll talk through your history and goals, look at how your whole body moves and breathes, and do a pelvic floor assessment only if you're comfortable with it. You'll leave with a clear plan and things you can start working on at home. Depending on what you need, treatment may include myofascial release, dry needling, breathwork, cupping, and Pilates-based rehab.
