Communication that Transforms Client Outcomes: Curiosity, Connection, and Coaching Impact (In-Person)
Communication That Transforms Health Coaching
A Two-Day Professional Development Course
Effective health coaching begins with meaningful connection. The way we listen, ask questions, and engage with clients can make a powerful difference in their confidence, motivation, and ability to create lasting change.
Communication That Transforms Health Coaching is a two-day professional development course led by NBC-HWC Dr. Susan Clinton, PT, DScPT, OCS, WCS, FAAOMPT, WHC, NBC-HWC designed to strengthen client-centered communication skills and support sustainable behavior change. Through a coaching-focused approach, participants will explore how to create collaborative partnerships that honor each client's values, priorities, strengths, and readiness for change.
Participants will explore motivational interviewing, curiosity-driven questions, navigating challenging conversations, and strategies for supporting clients as they identify their own reasons for change. Emphasis will be placed on fostering trust, autonomy, self-awareness, and accountability rather than relying on prescriptive advice or one-size-fits-all solutions.
